While some ratings say the movie has visible gendering in the film, some like the complex relationship and equation shared by the lead actors Katherine Heigl, Gerard Butler, and Bree Turner. Moviegoers thought quite high about the film, the poll rating of A- proves the same. The audience also enjoyed the fact that protagonists prepared for their varied roles well and made real efforts to project their roles on the screen to their maximum potential. The chick-flick title was given to the film and it received mixed responses overall.
